Focus Music

My daughter has been learning piano at the Kalamunda Music Academy for 1 year now and loves it. The piano teacher adapts his lessons to focus on the weaknesses of the student and lets her choose her own music but guides her towards pieces to improve her ability ensuring her interest is always maintained. In April my daughter was asked to join the junior band as the keyboardist; this experience has reinforced her joy in music as they have a say in the modern songs they wish to play and she enjoys playing with the other four members of the band.Kalamunda Music Academy have been professional, has a high level of communication and maintains a relaxed atmosphere where my child has excelled. Daryl Eagle (The director of Programs) is lovely and an amazing musician himself who has a great rapport with the kids.

Great environment for kids to nurture their musical and artistic talents! Shout out to Daniel Wiggins, Greg Barnett and Daryl Eagle for guiding my son James on electric guitar and band. For keeping his interest alive, nurturing his talent and pushing him to play some great music. And Pete's been a great addition to the band programme on Wednesdays this term. Really loving his energy, which I witnessed at the concert today!Wonderful to have the school in Forrestfield where I hope they will stay for a long time yet! I think it's great that they run their classes at Forrestfield Primary School where they have ample room and the students can play to their heart's content!

I had lessons with DARYL EAGLE and they were fantastic.Daryl listened to what I wanted to get out of the lessons and gave me a great mix of practical and fun knowledge. He is an amazing guitarist himself and is a really great guy.I would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to play guitar from beginner to expert level!

My daughter has been taking drum lessons this year with Felix and has learnt so much in such a short space of time. She always leaves so happy and inspired and her confidence has grown greatly. Thank you team ☺️

Professional, well experienced teachers. They will teach children of all ages and adults. Very approachable. Enjoy the concerts very much too.

I have been attending the school now for 3 terms and just starting my 4th, I have procrastinated for 20 years about learning the guitar and finally after seeing my daughter learn the piano decided to give it a go, at Kalamunda Music Academy, they don't just teach children so I could get lessons at the same time my daughter was attending, I have been very impressed with the support from the staff at KMA, booking lessons is easy and fast, the teaching is more than impressive...hey I'm actually playing a guitar and loving ever minute of it. Highly Highly recommend them!!

The staff at KMA are very pleasant and professional. They have made learning the piano fun and interesting for my daughter by encouraging her to learn pieces that are relevant to her interests. In fact, she had been enjoying her lessons so much that it even enticed my husband to enroll in guitar lessons (something he had been thinking of doing for 20+ years!) they are both now entering their 3rd & 4th terms since enrolling, and loving every minute of it! Great work KMA!!

Five stars for Daryl Eagle at Kalamunda Music Academy. Our 9 year old son is thoroughly enjoying his weekly guitar lessons - with the right mix of practical vs theory he's coming home each week with a new song up his sleeve (and a great song at that!) and a smile on his face!
