Sue Kingham Vocal Studio

I have been having singing lessons with Sue for 18months. I am not pursuing a professional career but really wanted to improve my voice for the sheer joy of singing. Sue is a fantastic teacher who has met me exactly where I am and tailored her teachings to my specific skills and expectations. She is warm, friendly and encouraging and I always leave my lessons having had fun and a few laughs as well as learned something new or sharpened a skill. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

I have been seeing Sue for the past 2 years! I love our weekly singing lessons! She puts her whole heart and soul into teaching her students! Her lessons allow you to develop your natural voice using technical exercises that help you to find the correct vocal technique to be able to sing with confidence. She creates a compassionate space for like-minded people to come together, practise performing by performing to each other and have a supportive and constructive critical analysis to assist you to improve your performance skills.Above all, Sue is awesome for anyone who is a little (or a lot) nervous about singing as she shows you in the kindest of ways how to learn to be more confident as a singer through good vocal technique. Sue Kingham is the best vocal teacher I have experienced. She really knows what she’s talking about when it comes to the voice and how to fix problems. I can honestly say my voice has improved so much since having lessons with Sue. She really knows how to improve your voice and has great knowledge of vocal exercises and the voice in general. Sue has made me feel so comfortable. Going from never singing in front of a soul, to being totally OK with trying new things, stuffing up and finding success in her presence. She has the ability to help you understand the techniques and she is able to educate using diifferent strategies to suit your brain type. I'm ADHD and have a particularly hard time maintaining focus.
